Mission


To provide the greatest standard of performing arts education and production for gifted African artists so that they may achieve their maximum potential to bring divine and impactful creativity to influential spheres in society while empowering others to do the same.

We envision educated, skilled, disciplined, successful, and thriving African performing artists becoming lifelong legends globally. Yenze aims to lead in creative excellence, African art form pedagogy, and add valued critics for new-work development and expression.

Our Story

Yenze Theatre Conservatoire, a drama school and production company based in Kampala Uganda. Founded by Aganza Kisaka to offer comprehensive drama training to Ugandans and provide creative space for artists to thrive.
We achieve this by providing training in acting, movement, voice, playwriting, directing, film production and personal development.
We use short- and long-term certified courses, online and in-person engagement, rehearsal space facilities, collaborations and masterclasses with renown artists and institutions such New York University and Louisiana State University amongst others and the opportunity to participate in theatre or film productions.


Yenze Theatre Conservatoire aims:

1. To skill actors with techniques, language and tools to better their performance craft.

2. To provide employment opportunities for creatives.

3. To provide a performance arts space rich in resources and creativity for the world to witness Ugandan performance.

4. Generate unique homegrown productions that are competitive on the international stage.
